I was part of the pitch team and responsible for the planning and execution of a major website redesign. I produced all design deliverables for the client and led the front-end team to implement. The design process was initiated with styletiles. Once an general design direction was established, lo-fi wireframes and prototypes were created using Adobe Creative Cloud and UXpin.
Annenberg is a school for communication. The client wanted us to stress the idea of connectivity between faculty and student programs. This was concept was important to them and something that they struggled with in the previous design.
Our concept for the design was to create a grid on the homepage that would randomly load a collection of students, faculty, and events. Each of these nods had related content associated with it. We used a color overlay on all related content. This would provide the user with a visual cue to guide them through the related items.
